We arrived home to a full house! The Staigmiller family were already in residence, waiting to add a new child to their family, and with them, was Andrea (picture below), a friend from Germany who was helping take care of Amos. So, we had Andreas, Angela, Amos and Andrea all awaiting the arrival of the newest member of the A Team, who turned out to be Asaf, a healthy baby boy!
This C-section went very well with no complications. They stayed with us for a week and a half after the birth. Jomart really enjoyed having another almost two year old to play with, especially when Poppa Andreas got out the blow up swimming pool!
On the Thursday after we got back, Dad took Pastor Julie over to Davao in a taxi to have the frame removed from his leg! They went over and back in one day and got back at about 1 am. The removal was done in the office, and it was a day of great rejoicing when Pastor Julie could wear long pants for the first time in over a year! He is walking quite well, with only a minor limp, and is walking a lot and climbing stairs to strenghten his muscles.
The day after the Staigmillers left, the Owens arrived. They are a lovely couple with Barnabas International who go around Asia encouraging missionaries. We have known them for four years and this is the second time they have stayed in our home. We took them to Iligan to see the ministries there and to meet our coworkers. They always like to take missionaries out to eat, but since we were homesick for good home cooked food, we managed to eat at home some of the time they were here. :-) I must say that CDO is getting some really good restaurants!
This next picture is of a piece of fabric I found in Thailand. It is malong (sarong) material from Indonesia, and I just love these colors and this print! I just had to show you!
Now that the dust has settled, and it is just us and the people who normally live here, we are getting things done, like catching up on this blog.

Thanks for the update. The fabric is lovely! Glad to see pictures of the people that things are happening to at your house... We're headed to Texas pretty quick so I might not get to call, but thanks for the news.
