Unbelievable

Our schedule and the stuff we are doing, non-stop... We have missed sending iCards or even calling both David and Peter. Ugh. Happy birthday to you both! We thought of you all day on your birthdays. We were at the LRF for a week teaching and when we came back, we had meetings with Phyliss and Donna here at the house trying to salvage the partnership. We were supposed to leave for Davao to get Julie set up outside the hospital with his family, but had to postpone that because of the meetings. The teaching went really well! Thank you for praying for me! The meetings are actually going pretty well. It is so sad to see men who are supposed to represent the Lord, in a "Christian" organization behave in such un-Christlike ways. We have all been striving to not follow their way of dealing with this situation, and I think the Lord has blessed this desire to honor Him, and we have ended up in the 'power position' at the negosiating table because of this. God has put it in the heart of the M Department of Health head that he will not sign anything or allow this project to go forward unless P&D have an entegral part of it. These men have basically used our ladies and the local couple, Ed and Gigi to do the most difficult part of the work, have given them very few help and resources to do it, and are now wanting to go on without them. Today we leave to go to Davao again to get Julie settled, with his family, for three weeks of out-patient care. Please pray that all will go well with getting him discharged. Pray also for Phyliss and Donna as they write up an equitable proposal for their working relationship with their 'partners.' Pray for us too, we are pretty tired and need a day off, but can't figure out when that could happen.

I always feel exhausted just hearing about your schedule! I will be praying for some restorative peaceful interludes.
